My mom took my 3 year old to the store and let him choose a toy. He picked this one. I couldn't find much info on it, so we were excited to bring it home and see what it could do. Holy cow...this thing is AWESOME. Especially for the price point!!First of all, this comes with an actual TIE fighter toy (like the die cast ones you can buy separately). That alone is usually $5 - $7 dollars. And you get so much more cool stuff!This comes with a large plastic wall (to hold the objects you're shooting at), 4 flat plastic TIE fighters that stand up on the plastic piece, a 'break out wall' that's a thick plastic sheet, the die cast TIE fighter, and a base for the die cast TIE fighter, and a green laser blast.I was skeptical of a) how well this would shoot, and b) how long this would last. Both have far exceeded my expectations. My 3 year old figured out instantly how to attach the TIE fighter onto the base and load the green ammo. He can do that all himself as well as depress the button that shoots the green thing. We've loaded and reloaded this thing hundreds of times already and nothing has broken or stopped working. He can set the whole thing up himself, knock it down, and set it up again. This as an independent toy that parents don't have to reset over and over again!His favorite part by far is the TIE fighter. He blasts things all around the house (the green laser thing is plastic, but small. It wouldn't break a window or anything). He also likes to play with the TIE fighter on its own.I so so so highly recommend this toy for the young (or older!) Star Wars fan. It's so much fun...he and his sister have had hours of fun with this thing. A great toy for an amazing price!!my son love theseNothing like it looked as advertised. It is flimsy and has no lights of any kind. Takes a while to set it up and constantly falls apart if being played with.Would not recommend this for any young boy.
