Very pleased with this backpack. So far nearly a full school year using it daily, being transported all over the place, it is holding up extremely well. The fabric is high quality - does not pick up dirt very easily, and showing no signs of wear.Love that there is a main compartment large enough for a Chromebook/small laptop, text book, some folders/notebooks, paperback book, a pair of over-ear headphones, and a lunch bag. Middle zippered compartment large enough to hold eyeglass case, some pencil pouches filled with school supplies, travel pack of tissues. Front zippered compartment can fit random Knick-knacks like chap stick, a few pencils, erasers, etc. Two side pockets large enough to hold kid-sized water bottles (have not tried full adult-sized bottles yet).Telescoping handle is sturdy, extends and retracts smoothly/easily, no issues with it getting jammed at all. Wheels spin freely, never had any issues. Zippers are all high-quality (not sure if they are YKK or not) - no sticky/stuck or busted zippers. The fabric handle at the top is decent, although I would say if you regularly load up the backpack, that it might not be a good idea to carry it by the fabric handle for too long/too often. This is probably the one area I wish was slightly better quality/more sturdy.Planning to use the same backpack again in the new school year, I am optimistic that it will hold up as it’s still in very good shape. Also to note, we liked this one so much that we ended up buying the smaller size for our younger child.Really pleased with this purchase. Works well, and would love to see more designs similar to this one. We don’t like unicorns, mermaids or Disney designs.We bought it for our first grader. All over it is amazing but to heavy for a 6 year old. Our daughter struggles caring it up or down stairs and she does not like it on her back cause of the weight. We had to get her a way lighter bag with a better opening of the main compartment. We plan to use it again for the new school year.Large zippered compartment is large enough to hold a lunch bag, folders, kid’s sweater, and all sorts of “projects” that get sent home from school (we are not in a position where we need to transport things like Chromebooks/laptops, textbooks, or equipment just yet, but a Chromebook or small laptop plus lunch bag and kid sweater would fit just fine.) Front zippered pocket large enough to store things like chap stick, travel tissues, pencil cases, etc.The telescoping handle is sturdy and extends/retracts smoothly and easily, and the height can be customized for younger kids. The wheels are sturdy and robust and has had no issue rolling over any surface we’ve come across. The only issue is that the fabric handle at the top of the bag feels a little iffy- not sure how sturdy it is and whether it’s reinforced enough to withstand carrying a fully loaded backpack by this fabric handle on a frequent basis. I personally prefer to carry it by its retracted telescoping handle, which feels much sturdier.Seems durable. Love the print and all the space. A little heavy for what I got it for but will find a use for it.My 10 year old has used this for about 3 months.
