I bought this dropout hanger after an accident in which my derailleur popped into my wheel after I bottomed out into a pot hole while racing down a hill at 37 MPH. The spokes caught the derailleur and ripped it clean off snapping the dropout hanger like a twig. I had to replace the derailleur and the hanger.You have to be very, very specific when selecting the correct dropout hanger. You can go to a bike shop to find out your type number or search for it using an image search. There are so many types out here so make sure you select the right one because one with dimensions that are slightly off won't fight in the slot on your frame.I bought this hanger for my Tonino Lamborghini Montagna Mountain Bicycle manufactured by Kent. I used to have a Tourney derailleur, but replaced it with an Alivio.
