The cost of this connector, plus a new battery and a charger were cheaper than what a lesser known website wanted to charge for a battery and charger. Since I didn't want to risk getting parts from a place I didn't know, and would take a long time. I opted to go convert with this connector which allows me to use the main brand replacement batteries. The connector was ready to install. I just clipped the old one off. Stripped dinner cover off this connector. Wrapped the exposed wire together. Covered in electrical tape. Boom it's works. My son is happy and even wants to play with it in the snow.I know that isn't the best way to connect wires. But it is the easiest way right now. Eventually I hope to give it a better connection and protection. So far no problems, even when my son washed his car and water got in the engine bay with the battery. So glad I found this connector.
