Like other reviewers, I wish the computer sleeve was removable. I cut it out since I didn't take a computer on this trip. I will use the sleeve in the future though. I love this carry on! It holds a lot of stuff. Our flight one way was 48 hours, so I was able to pack a change of clothes, slippers, all my medication and a snack. Love that it has a charger for my cell phone, since not all airplanes have chargers. The wheels are really smooth, no tugging or dragging this piece. It is very light weight, and it really does fit under the seat of a plane (although I prefer putting it in the overhead if possible) If I could change 1 thing, it would be that the main compartment open al the way & stay open on it's own. Currently, I have to hold it open while I pack. I spent 4 hours researching before I bought this, and I feel I made the right choice, no regrets.I ordered two of these carry on luggage because they are the exact dimensions for Spirit Airlines personal item without luggage fees. I had read the reviews prior to ordering the luggage and was aware of the strap possibly coming loose. I took a chance but alas it happened to me as well. I was glad to see that the liner had a zipper that could be opened. The zipper does not have a latch to grab on to but I was able to still unzip the liner. This allowed me access to where the strap is connected. I then saw the screw that had come loose. I also noticed that there wasn't a washer that the other side of the strap had. Not sure why the screw came loose but I imagine someone in China didn't feel a washer was necessary. I went to Lowes and bought two washers in case the other luggage also was missing a washer. I was able to reattach the strap and made sure the screws on both sides were tightened. I'm glad I was able to fix it rather than go through the hassle of getting it replaced or find another brand with the same dimensions. Hope this helps others. When our old roll-on bags wouldn't roll down the airplane aisle since they have become rather narrow, we went in search of new replacement roll-on bags with spinner wheels. After various purchases of different bags from Amazon.com, we settled on the Smasonite Flexis which included a backstrap to attached above another rolling bag and was of adequate size to hold our typical "overnight" packing. While the price was higher than I would have hoped, it was clearly less then the Tumi comparable at over $1,000. The "lid" to the bag would not stay open until it was coaxed to do so. And the "lap-top sleeve insert" really served no purpose for us, so it was removed, providing more space. As adjusted, it is a pretty good Carry-On that meets the airline dimensional requirements, although the wheels don't seem to be all that sturdy, so I wonder how long the bags will last.I love this suitcase! I brought for a trip to Europe where I decided that I wanted to pack a carry-on only and save on the luggage fees and have the convenience of not having to check a bag. Some of the European airlines have even smaller carry-on size limits and after research, I found this carry-on would work perfectly for all my flights and it did. It is light-weight and easy to manage with the 4 wheels. The only small complaints I have or changes I would make are these: There is no inside water-proof pouch that I have had in other suitcases. And although the telescoping handle seems strong and durable, I do not like that there are 2 buttons to extend and contract the handle, because it seemed I was alway accidentally hitting one and causing the handle to collapse when I was pulling the suitcase along.I like the size, and it seems sturdy enough after two uses. It's a pain to pack because of the way the lid keeps closing. The elastic straps to secure items are way too short and tight. It's a nuisance to try to dig them out as you fill the bag, and the straps wrinkle everything. The worst part of the design is the laptop sleeve. Many of us don't have a laptop that small and won't need it, but it's right at the top and it gets in the way the same way the lid does. They could have used the same type of snaps that secure the laptop sleeve to make it removable, but it's permanently attached at the bottom edge, wasting space. In a small bag it's like always having to pack an extra pair of pants that you won't need. I'll probably end up cutting the sleeve out.Odd thing about the size is that Samsonite has a hard time designing a carry-on bag that complies with the 22"x14"x9" guidance. All of their larger carry-ons will exceed one dimension or another. If only they made a bag like this one but 3-4" longer.Appreciate the under-seat size of this bag and was able to fit many items including laptop in it despite the compact size. However, with a newer plane I could barely get it past the seats to under the seat. Size was perfect with older planes that had a bit more leg room. Appreciate the recycled fabric, but it collects dust and hair like a magnet. Might want to carry a small lint roller in the pocket. All in all a great addition to baggage to have on hand for those time you don't want to check a bag. It will for sure be accepted as a carry-on due to its size and compact nature.I tried three different Samsonite underseat carry-on spinners. This one was the smallest of the three. I like that it is light weight. The deal-breaker for me is that the laptop sleeve isn't removable (it was on the other two that I tried). Due to it being the smallest of the three, I really needed to remove the laptop sleeve. It rolled well. Seemed to be the usual Samsonite quality. I liked the side pocket. For the price of $99, this was a decent value, but there is a very small padded section that will hold a surface pro or ipad - I cut that out - it gets in the way. I also had to cut the elastic tabs out that held that section in place. That is a personal preference, however, the handle does not consistently adjust. It usually works, but at times, I have to take both hands to depress the buttons on each side of the handle to get it to adjust. I will probably continue to use it because it is easy to maneuver, but the handle issue is why I gave it three stars. On different surfaces, I need to adjust the handle height for better leverage and having to stop to make adjustments is terribly inconvenient. This is my second purchase of this underseat spinner. I bought the first one and used it multiple times in my many oversea trips. Prior to that, I carried a backpack, and as my age advanced.... I found carrying a backpack is a pain in the ...back. My backpack gave me a backpain every trips. So I switched to this 4-wheeler underseater; and boy, what a difference it made...Since then, I have never carried a backpack again and it spares me from backpain which is critical at my age. This 4 wheel underseater is so easy to handle with very little effort, I can carry more stuff than my backpack, and without the pain. I can pack all my medicine, laptop, ipad, blanket, nest rest, jacket, and other stuff for a 3 days use, all in this versatile underseat 4-wheeler. I especially like the horizontal luggage strap on the rear, where I can simply slip it over the other check in larger suitcase, and I can wheel both this underseat 4 wheeler and the check in big suitcase in one unit.... so much convenient and easy. Now my wife, seeing how easy and convenient it is, have me buy her the same, which I did; and we both enjoy this compact size, easy mobility, easy to handle underseat 4-wheeler luggage. Googbye backpack !! Love it..
